Delivery Information

If you live within 8 miles of our yard in Sutton in Ashfield near Mansfield then you will receive FREE delivery and also FREE shed erection, a full list of the areas we deliver to free of charge can be seen below.

Access Requirements...

Vehicle : Our shed erectors will arrive in a 7.5 tonne truck and will need adequate space to park whilst they erect your new garden building. (typically 3 car lengths is suitable)

Height and width restrictions : Please inform us if your property has any height or width restrictions. I.E. access from the front to the rear blocked by a gate spar or arch way. If height is a problem then certain sections of the building can be manufactured in 2 halves.

Clear Pathway to the base : The route that our erectors take from the road to your base MUST be clear from obstructions (washing lines, plants, plant pots. etc ) This is to comply with our Health and safety Policy.

Base Requirements...

Smith's sheds are high quality and therefore we STRONGLY recommend that you have a large, substantial base. There are many ways to achieve this...

• Concrete slab base
• Treated timber base
• Railway sleepers... etc etc

The most important aspect of your base is that is large enough for the shed and LEVEL. An un-level base will cause the shed to twist and reduce the lifespan.

Availability...

All of our Garden Buildings are hand-made to each specific order. When you order your shed you will be given a 'delivery date'. This is typically 1-2 weeks.
